1. About Northeastern University
Northeastern University (NEU), situated in the central city of Northeastern China-Shenyang, is one of the national key universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education. 2. About College of Information Science and Engineering (ISE)
（1）ISE’s Strength
ISE provides 3 first-level disciplines, among which Control Science and Engineering ranked No.1 once and No.2 twice in the discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education and is listed as China’s first-class discipline in 2017.
ISE aims at the cutting-edge position in international academic field, focuses on the major domestic need and lays emphasis on practical application in industry. ISE strives to grow into a world-class scientific highland, a national high-level institute and a talent training base for industrial innovation.
（2）A Galaxy of Talents
Presently ISE has a faculty of 240 and full-time undergraduates of 3344. It has 2 academicians, 9 awardees of national “Recruitment Program of Global Experts (The Thousand Talents Plan)”, 13 distinguished and guest professors of “Chang Jiang Scholars Program”, 8 winners of “the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars”，4 awardees of the National “Recruitment Program for Young Professionals (The Thousand Talents Program for Young Professionals)”，3 selected into the “New Century National Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project” and 4 innovation groups of the National Natural Science Foundation. ISE is the host of 1 National Engineering Technology Research Center, 1 State Key Laboratory and 1 Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education.
3. Preferential Treatment
（1）National High-level Leading Expert

Offer working and living treatment no less than that of the original work unit, and specific conditions can be discussed.

1. Provide necessary scientific research facilities, assign scientific research assistants and offer help in building an academic team;
2. Provide no less than 10 million Yuan (RMB) as research fund;
3. Offer an annual payment of 800,000 Yuan (RMB);
4. If full-time, NEU offers a housing subsidy of 500,000 Yuan (RMB) and relocation expenses;
5. Offer either an apartment for rent or a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month;
6. Doctoral Supervisor.
＊Distinguished Expert of Short-term National “Recruitment Program of Global Experts (The Thousand Talents Plan)”
1. Provide necessary scientific research facilities and 500,000 Yuan (RMB) as research fund ( 5 years of contract);
2. Offer a monthly salary of 70,000 Yuan (RMB).
3. Offer a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month for the work-time at NEU.
＊Distinguished Professor of "the Chang Jiang Scholar Program"; Winner of "the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars"; Leading Talent of "the Ten Thousand Talents Plan" or Personnel of Equivalent Level
1. Provide necessary scientific research facilities, assign scientific research assistants and offer help in building an academic team;
2. Provide no less than 5 million Yuan (RMB) as research fund;
3. Offer an annual payment of 600,000 Yuan (RMB);
4. Offer a housing subsidy of 1200,000 Yuan (RMB) and relocation expenses;
5. Offer for one year either an apartment for rent or a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month;
6. National Second-level Professorship and Doctoral Supervisor;
7. Assist in resolving spouse's work.
＊Chair Professor of "the Chang Jiang Scholar Program"
1．Provide necessary scientific research facilities and 300,000 Yuan (RMB) as research fund ( 3 years of contract);
2．Ministry of Education provides a bonus of 30,000 yuan/month (2-3 months yearly) and NEU offers a monthly salary of 20,000 Yuan (RMB);
3．Offer a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month for the work-time at NEU.
（2）National Excellent Young Talent
＊Young Distinguished Professor (Distinguished Expert of the National “Recruitment Program for Young Professionals (The Thousand Talents Program for Young Professionals)”, Distinguished Young Scholar of “the Chang Jiang Scholar Program”, Winner of “the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars” and Awardees of “the National High-level Personnel of Special Support Program (Ten Thousand Talents Program)”)
1. Provide necessary scientific research facilities and 2 million Yuan (RMB) as research fund;
2. Offer an annual payment of 500,000 Yuan (RMB);
3. Offer a housing subsidy of 600,000 Yuan (RMB);
4. Offer for one year either an apartment for rent or a rent subsidy of 2,000 Yuan (RMB) per month;
5. National Forth-level Professorship and Doctoral Supervisor;
6. Assist in resolving spouse's work.
＊Young Distinguished Associate Professor (Applicant of the National “Recruitment Program for Young Professionals (The Thousand Talents Program for Young Professionals)”, “the Chang Jiang Scholar Program”, “the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars” or “the National High-level Personnel of Special Support Program (Ten Thousand Talents Program)” who passes the review but fails the interview)
1. Provide necessary scientific research facilities and 800,000 Yuan (RMB) as research fund;
2. Offer an annual payment of 400,000 Yuan (RMB);
3. Offer a housing subsidy of 500,000 Yuan (RMB);
4. Offer for one year a rent subsidy of 2,000 Yuan (RMB) per month;
5. Doctoral Supervisor;
6. Be able to apply for professorship since his/ her return year.
＊Young Academic backbone
1. Provide no less than 100,000 Yuan (RMB) as research fund;
2. Offer a housing subsidy of no less than 200,000 Yuan (RMB);
3. Offer for one year either an apartment for rent or a rent subsidy of 1,000 Yuan (RMB) per month for those without housing in Shenyang;
4. Associate Professorship and Doctoral Supervisor.
（3）Foreign High-level Expert

1. Offer a monthly salary of 70,000yuan per month;
2. Offer an expert apartment or a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month for the work-time at NEU；
3. Afford travel expenses three times in a year.
＊Foreign High-level Excellent Expert
1. Offer a monthly salary of 40,000yuan per month;
2. Offer an expert apartment or a rent subsidy of 3,000 Yuan (RMB) per month for the work-time at NEU;
3. Afford travel expenses once in a year.
